I started listening to music in the late fifties. My older brother and my parents were my main influence but that soon changed when I discovered radio. In the late 60’s I decided I wanted to work in radio and by the mid 70’s I got my first “On air” job. I have been in and out of the broadcast world ever since. The one thing that I have always love is music. I love finding new music and different music. Sometimes it may be a song or artist that is just released. A lot of times it may be something new to me that I have never heard. I am blessed to have a lot of friends and family members who love sharing music with me.
In 2013 with the encouragement of John Heimerl, who was working at Hampton Roads public Broadcasting at the time, my son Chris & I started the G-Man Radio Network. I started producing the program “Edge of the Universe” for altradio.org & WHRV-HD2 in Norfolk. It has been the perfect outlet for me the share the vast amount of music that I have collected and continues to collect with an audience that enjoys listening to new and different music.
